EPF will showcase its SUPATA® Smart Feeder with Automated Vertical Warehouse
At Fakuma 2026 in Friedrichshafen (Booth A5-5217), SHIBAURA MACHINE LWB and E.P.F. Elettrotecnica S.r.l. (EPF) will present advanced solutions for injection molding, production automation, and digital quality and process monitoring. The systems help plastics processors boost productivity, stabilize processes, and raise overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
SHIBAURA MACHINE LWB will showcase a fully electric 100-ton injection molding machine EC100SXIII producing business card boxes from polypropylene (PP), automatically removed by a Cartesian linear handling system. A standout innovation is the new S-Concept Resin Viscosity Measurement, which continuously monitors resin viscosity and automatically adjusts processing parameters in a closed control loop to ensure consistent part quality, even when processing regrind material. The seamless interplay of machine, automation, and digital process intelligence increases OEE, reduces downtime, and enables highly productive manufacturing with maximum process reliability.
Additionally, EPF will showcase its SUPATA® Smart Feeder with Automated Vertical Warehouse, demonstrating automated feeding, inline dimensional and surface inspection, and complete traceability through integrated vision technology. The system handles several components in a single production flow, supports rapid recipe changes, offers optional automatic gripper exchange, and integrates seamlessly into automated production lines. SUPATA® unites automated feeding, quality control, and traceability in one platform. The intelligent inspection system enables manufacturers to boost efficiency while responding swiftly to changing production needs.
On October 28 and 29, 2026, SHIBAURA MACHINE LWB invites to the SHIBAURA MACHINE LWB | Next-Level Molding Days: https://www.shibaura-machine-lwb.de/en/next-level-molding-days-2/
